Built for Rockford-size companies

Rockford is a manufacturing town, and manufacturing finance is where my deepest experience is. Most of the companies I work with run between 50 and 200 employees — the size where the controller wears four hats and the next hire has to be right the first time because there is no bench to absorb a miss. A machine shop or a mid-size manufacturer does not need a finance person who has only ever seen clean corporate books. It needs someone who understands cost, inventory, and the way a smaller company actually runs. I know what that person looks like and I know how to screen for them.

You get one point of contact: me. I do the intake call, the sourcing, the screening, and the reference work myself. Nothing gets handed to a junior recruiter who has never filled a finance role. Before I send you anyone, I have talked to them about your company, your systems, and the specific problem you are trying to solve, so the people you interview already understand why the seat is open and want it.

Searches are typically filled in three to four weeks. I would rather send you three people who fit than thirty who do not. Volume is easy. A short list you can trust is the hard part, and it is the only part that saves you time.

The kind of hire this matters for

A wrong finance hire is expensive in a way most hires are not. A controller who cannot close, a CFO who cannot forecast, an analyst who cannot be trusted with the model — you feel those mistakes in your numbers, your owner meetings, and your own workload.
