Other Professional Roles I Fill

Finance and accounting is my specialty, but it isn’t the only seat I fill. Over the years, the small and midsize companies I work with have asked me to help with roles well beyond the finance department. I said yes, did the work, and it became a real part of what I do.

If you already trust me to find your next controller or accountant, you can hand me the rest of your professional office openings too.

How this happened

My first career was in finance and accounting, and that’s still where I know the work best. But recruiting for 50-to-200-person companies means getting to know the whole business, not just the books. When a client I’d placed a controller for needed a sales manager or an operations lead, they came back to me because they already knew how I work. That kind of repeat, relationship-driven hiring is how the rest of this grew.

Roles I fill beyond finance

These are the professional office positions clients ask me for most often:

  • Sales and marketing — account managers, sales reps, marketing coordinators, and managers
  • Project management — project coordinators and project managers across departments
  • Administrative and office support — office managers, executive assistants, and administrative staff
  • Information technology — help desk, IT support, systems, and analyst roles
  • Operations and other professional office roles — if it’s a professional seat at a small or midsize company, ask me

Same approach, whatever the role

The way I work doesn’t change when the job title does. I take the time to understand the seat, the team, and the kind of person who will actually fit. You deal with me directly from the first call to the final offer. There’s no account manager handoff and no stack of unqualified resumes to sort through.

For roles outside finance and accounting, I’ll be straight with you about where my network is deep and where I’ll need to build a search from scratch. Either way, you’ll know what to expect before we start.

Not sure if I cover the role you’re hiring for?

Just ask. If it’s a professional office position at a small or midsize business in Wisconsin or northern Illinois, there’s a good chance I can help — and if it’s not a fit for me, I’ll tell you that too.

Let’s talk about the seat you need filled

Tell me about the role and the kind of person you’re looking for. No commitment, just a conversation.
